Why Lonsonstrut High-Strength Alloy Outperforms Carbon Steel

Through nearly 100 national patents and continuous metallurgical innovation, Lonsonstrut replaces bulky welded steel with ultra-light, high-load aluminum alloy framing.

65% Lighter Overhead Installation

Only 1/3 the density of carbon steel. Drastically reduces physical crane handling, installation time at heights, and secondary dead loads on building trusses.

83% Higher Connection Slip Resistance

Patented 3D wedge-locking channel lips and serrated channel nuts prevent fastener displacement under heavy dynamic surge and thermal cycling.

Integrated Forming · Zero Welds

Eliminates heat-affected zones (HAZ), weld deformation, and micro-cracking common in welded brackets, providing consistent batch-to-batch yield strength.

Engineering Performance Comparison

Tensile Strength 728 MPa (Lonsonstrut Alloy) vs 370 MPa (Q235)
Slip Resistance Performance +83% Mechanical Interlock
Weight Reduction ~66% Lighter Than Carbon Steel

Technical & Procurement FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Direct answers regarding system compatibility, load calculations, lead times, and international shipping.

Are Lonsonstrut channels compatible with standard US/European fittings?

Yes. Our standard 41×41 mm (1-5/8" × 1-5/8") and 41×21 mm profiles strictly comply with international MFMA standards. All standard channel nuts, cantilever arms, beam clamps, and base plates will interlock seamlessly.

When should we specify Aluminum Alloy over Hot-Dip Galvanized steel?

Aluminum is strongly recommended when structural dead-load must be minimized (overhead trapezes, rooftop piping), in high-voltage environments where non-ferromagnetic materials prevent eddy-current losses, and in coastal/humid conditions where long-term repainting is impossible.

What is your production capacity and typical export lead time?

Our 133,000 m² factory in Zhengzhou has an annual capacity exceeding 100,000 metric tons. Standard slotted and solid profiles ship within 7 to 15 days. Custom extrusions or specialized OEM orders typically ship within 20 to 30 days.

Do you provide Mill Test Certificates (MTC) and load calculation reports?

Every production batch includes full EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificates detailing chemical composition, yield, tensile strength, and coating thickness (e.g., HDG microns). Engineering calculation sheets for project submittals are available upon request.
