6-Stage Standardized Manufacturing Flow
Every Lonsonstrut support component follows rigorous manufacturing protocols from raw billet casting to final protective crating.
Cutting Process
Steel coils and aluminum alloy billets are cut to precise dimensional specifications using automated shearing and sawing equipment, ensuring consistent blank sizes and minimizing material waste ahead of forming operations.
Punching Process
CNC-controlled punching dies stamp slot patterns, bolt holes, and mounting apertures into the channel profile with consistent pitch and dimensional accuracy across every production batch.
CNC Machining
CNC multi-axis punching equipment performs precision slotting on the profiles, producing standardized slot patterns with clean, burr-free edges to ensure universal compatibility with all fitting types.
Quality Inspection
Every finished component undergoes rigorous dimensional verification, load testing, and surface finish inspection before release. Batch inspection records are available for all qualified orders, ensuring full traceability from production to delivery.
Surface Treatment & Passivation
Every component undergoes a rigorous surface protection process tailored to its application environment. Available finishes include Anodizing (15–25µm oxide layer), Hot-Dip Galvanizing to ASTM A123, Electro-Galvanizing, and Dacromet coating.
Pre-Assembly, QA & Export Packaging
Finished components undergo final dimensional checks and batch identification marking before being kitted into sub-assemblies. Products are then packed in heavy-duty fumigated wooden crates or steel-strapped bundles engineered for seaworthy transit to US and European destinations.
In-House QA & Mechanical Testing Lab
Lonsonstrut maintains an accredited testing facility to substantiate every load rating, slip-resistance threshold, and fatigue endurance claim before parts leave the factory floor.
"We provide 100% material inspection records and lot-specific Mill Test Certificates (MTC 3.1) with every shipment, guaranteeing complete accountability across metro transit, data centers, and industrial mega-projects."
Tensile & Yield Testing
Universal hydraulic testing machine up to 1000 kN to record exact ultimate tensile strength (up to 728 MPa) and elongation data.
2M Dynamic Fatigue Cycles
Simulates long-term rail transit and high-speed train vibration to verify concrete insert channels without structural loosening.
Slip-Resistance Wedge Test
Measures mechanical locking friction between spring channel nuts and serrated flanges, validating our 83% slip resistance improvement.
Salt Spray & Salt Fog Chamber
Continuous neutral salt spray (NSS) environmental exposure testing to guarantee anti-corrosion protection in coastal & utility tunnel atmospheres.

Lonsonstrut High-Strength Alloy vs Conventional Q235 Carbon Steel
Understanding why tier-one metro projects, utility tunnels, and data center operators specify our proprietary aluminum modular support system.
| Performance Parameter | Lonsonstrut High-Strength Alloy | Conventional Q235 Carbon Steel | Job-Site Benefit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Structural Weight | ~1/3 the weight of steel (~2.7 g/cm³) | Standard steel weight (~7.85 g/cm³) | Faster overhead lifting, reduced dead load on buildings |
| Max Tensile Strength | Up to 728 MPa (Yield 604 MPa) | 370–500 MPa (Yield ~235 MPa) | Higher mechanical safety factor with less raw material |
| Corrosion Resistance | Inherent dense oxide layer + Anodizing | Prone to rust once zinc coating is chipped/scratched | Zero repainting required; ideal for humid utility tunnels |
| Electromagnetic Properties | Non-Ferromagnetic (Zero Eddy Currents) | Ferromagnetic (Induces eddy heating in cables) | Protects high-voltage 220kV cables & data center lines |
| Dynamic Fatigue Resistance | Tested to 2,000,000 fatigue cycles | Vulnerable to weld heat-affected fatigue cracking | Withstands continuous vibration in metro & rail tunnels |
| Installation Workflow | 100% Pre-engineered Bolt Assembly (No Hot Work) | Frequently requires on-site cutting & welding | Up to 50% faster installation; eliminates fire hazards |
